Fortnite Gets Stability Update v.8.11.1 on IOS

Epic has released a new Fortnite patch v.8.11.1 for mobile iOS, posted on the FortniteMobile subreddit. According to Epic, this patch is "intended to help with some of the stability issues that players have been experiencing". Focusing on maintaining the game running properly, it could fix general stability issues, not all of them. Epic promises to "resolve these issues as quickly as we can", for which their developers are working on a new way to "gather more information when crashes occur".

The patch should make the game run more smoothly than ever. In addition, there is a update bringing to the mobile's voice chat for testing its stability. By the way, visit Fortnite daily item shop if you need best guns in Fortnite.

Though Season 8 has been very popular with Fortnite players, the update brought quite a few bugs with it. The issues impacting console and PC players are minor, but major performance trouble has impacted mobile players, and it is at least partly connected to the apps'voice chat feature.
Epic Games disabled voice chat in iOS a couple of days ago to deal with the issue, then briefly reinstated it last week. A few hours later, the developer announced that it was disabling the feature again, as well as temporarily taking it down on the Android version of the game. In patch v.8.11.1, Epic states that they will turn on voice chat 12 am EST, testing its stability. The whole process will last for 30 minutes or so. During this period. voice chat is still disabled. As for when to reinstate it, Epic hasn't given any information.

Let's take a look at the full patch notes of the update.

UPDATE:
The v8.11.1 patch has done a lot to improve stability. We wanted to update you that we're still working on eliminating other stability and performance issues that you may be experiencing. If you are having any issues with this current patch please be sure to report the issue in game and let us know.

UPDATE 2: Voice chat will be turned on around 12am EST in order to test stability. We expect this to be a short test and last around 30 minutes. Voice chat will then be turned off while we look into the results of the test.
