The Fire Breathers was a specialized division of the Responders dedicated to fighting the Scorched before 2102. The Fire Breathers were comprised of pre-War firefighters and post-War volunteers. The division, based out of the Charleston Fire Department, was created out of a need for a specialized defense against the Scorched. They refined tactics and developed equipment for this purpose, notably using pre-War fire protection gear as armor as well as Fire Breather uniforms. What happens if you launch one of Fallout 76's nukes at a fissure site?  A group of players recently found out that dropping a nuke at a fissure site will create a timed endgame event called Scorched Earth, and will summon a monster named the Scorchbeast Queen alongside tons of other powerful enemies. Scorchbeasts are tough, level 50 creatures that look like massive mutant bats, but the level 95 Scorchbeast Queen that spawns after nuking their hive is much more difficult to take down.
