The Upcoming Fortnite v8.20 Content Update-What to Expect
It seems that Fortnite v8.20 content update will go live tomorrow.
Epic has announced via the Fortnite official twitter that it will release the v8.20 content update for Fortnite Battle Royale tomorrow, April 2 at 8AM ET(1200 UTC). There is no download or downtime required for this update. As for Fortnite Save The World best weapons, don't miss Fortnite Item Shop today.
A Fortnite update is a constant improvement for the game-introducing new content to players and keeping all the features they love. For this v8.20 content update, Fortnite players should get some information about what will come to the game because of leakers. Let's take a look at what players can expect from this update.
According to Fortnite in-game news, a new weapon called Explosive Bow will be added to the Battle Royale mode, probably in the next update. When introducing new items to the upcoming update, Epic usually teases them ahead of the released time, this time is no exception. Epic has teased it in its announcement, saying: "Ready your bows" followed by the bow's image.
As for the new bow, if you have kept an eye on Season 8's promotion art below, you should have noticed the Explosive Bow.
The audio files and a reload animation for this bow has been revealed by data miners from the files of Fortnite v8.20. It is expected to a powerful weapon in damage based on the leaked statistics. If leaks are right, it deals 110 damage on impact and has a 1.296 reload time.
New weapon's adding means there will be an existing weapon to be removed, according to Epic's balance rule for the game's loot pool.
Additionally, the Baller will get adjustments. Last week's v8.20 update removed its damage capabilities. The Baller no longer applies damage to players on collision. The knockback/bounce effect will remain unchanged. This update, Epic will adjust the Baller to allow players to shoot through the glass of The Baller, which will deal damage directly to the driver inside the Baller.
